Can someone explain how the rear sprocket is not centered on the rear tire, but both are on the rear axle? Is it a camera angle illusion tricking my eye?

I love the idea of hub-steer front ends; seeing a forkless front wheel is magical to me somehow. But I just can’t get over how needlessly complex it is.
